Leukemia survivor Andrew Marshall continues to move forward in The Voice competition. Last week, he left Blake Shelton’s team after a brief stay only to be snapped up again for the Nick Jonas roster. Singing Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up,” his rendition was meaningful and heartfelt, no doubt a reflection of the adversity this young vocalist has had to face. He even dedicated the song to a fellow patient. This past Monday night, the 21-year-old singer wasn’t up as the remainder of the contestants finished their face-offs and one four-way knockout.
Looks like Andrew will be heading into the live shows this coming Monday evening on NBC. I hope we in the cancer community will reach out with our hearts and votes to lend this fellow cancer patient some well-deserved support.
